Your health is always our top priority
For that reason, we are continuing to follow developments in the COVID-19 situation very closely. If you have any questions, our pharmacists are available to answer you and offer advice over the phone.
Stringent sanitation protocols remain in place to keep everyone safe in our 68 pharmacies. Seeing as vigilance remains essential, our pharmacies and facilities are being cleaned several times a day in order to provide a healthy environment for staff as well as patients.
In accordance with public health measures and recommendations issued by the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec, we recommend that you opt for the following services:
Prescription Renewal
Over the phone
Call your pharmacy directly to have your order prepared and ask if a delivery service is available. If you need any over-the-counter medication, please mention it when placing your order so that it can be added to your purchase.
Online
Use online prescription renewal and account management options. If you haven’t signed up yet, contact your pharmacist-owner affiliated with Accès pharma for your identification number and temporary password.
Photo Transmission of Prescriptions
Online
You can now send pictures of your new prescriptions online using your prescription renewals area. Do hold on to your paper prescriptions however, because they are required upon pickup.
Medication Home Delivery Service
All pharmacies offer an at-home delivery service at no extra cost. Certain conditions apply. Contact the team at your affiliated pharmacy to see if this service is offered in your area and ask about delivery times.
Curbside medication pickup NEW
In order to limit the number of people inside stores and avoid waiting time at the entrance, we strongly suggest that you avail yourselves of our curbside pickup service when you choose to make your way to the pharmacy in person. You can pick up your prescriptions from your car, in the Accès pharma pharmacy parking lot.
Start by calling your affiliated pharmacy to find out if curbside pickup is offered, and have your prescriptions filled over the phone. Then drive into the parking lot at the agreed time and place. When you arrive, all you have to do is call your pharmacy to let them know you are there so that we can bring your order straight to your car. This service is complimentary.
Express prescription dropoff and pickup
Thanks to this new service offered by pharmacist-owners affiliated with Accès Pharma, you can get your prescriptions faster by skipping the line to enter the Walmart store. When you get to the store, call the pharmacy at the number written on the sign outside to talk to a member of the pharmacy team. Then, talk the person in charge of managing the line into the store so you can be escorted inside to drop off or pick up your prescription. This service is only available for prescriptions and cannot be used to purchase other items.
Do check with the team at your pharmacy to make sure this service is offered, and for information regarding processing times.
It’s ready! text notification
Take advantage of this brand new service and avoid waiting at the pharmacy to get your prescription. You’ll receive a text message when your prescription is ready for pick up. Ask your Accès pharma-affiliated pharmacist-owner if this service is available and how to sign up.
*Standard text messaging rates from your telecommunications provider may apply according to the terms of your service contract.
30-day prescription refills
Prescriptions are filled for a duration of 30 days, except in rare cases – at the pharmacist’s discretion. The aim of this guideline by the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec is to grant access to medications for all patients, in particular the most vulnerable.
Appropriate behaviour at the pharmacy
- Our online prescription renewals and delivery services continue to be provided. Feel free to use them.

Are you 70 or older?
If you are adequately vaccinated and in good health, you may go about your daily routine, without constraints, as long as you follow public health measures in effect for the general population. In order to protect your health, it is recommended that you use home delivery services where provided. Your pharmacist remains available to advise you and answer your questions over the phone.
Are you returning from a trip abroad?
To know which rules apply to your situation, please visit the travel.gc.ca page by the Government of Canada. In contains all the updated information you need, as well as requirements and recommendations.
Are you experiencing symptoms such as fever, difficulty breathing, a sudden loss of smell or taste without nasal congestion?
Do not go to the pharmacy. The first step is to verify rapidly if you are COVID-19 positive in order for you to self-isolate as quickly as possible. That way, you can avoid infecting others. At the moment, PCR testing is reserved for persons belonging to priority groups. If you are not among them, you can take a rapid test.
Do not make your way to the pharmacy yourself. Using our online reservation service, quickly schedule an appointment at the Accès pharma location closest to you. Someone you know can pick up your screening test kit for you. By making an appointment, you guarantee the availability of the kit in question. You may also ask your Accès pharma pharmacy directly if screening tests are available. If so, one could be handed to your designated person without delay.
